We bought a total of 4 micro-scooters. Two mini and consecutively two maxi. And soon we're going to buy another 2 for our now bigger kids- 10 & 12. Micro-scooters for me translates to reliability for future help resolving any problems arising from regular use - like having spare parts. It means that we can pass on our scooters to other children once outgrown and if anything brakes - you can find the part easily. I love micro-scooters! I fell in love when I was buying the first one for my then 2,5 years old daughter. Why? Because of the spare parts!
