It cuts perfectly whether it is forged or billet. I use it with my Makita router and Router Jig Extreme. This one is a replacement speedmill since the previous one was getting dull after cutting many Lowers. I love my Router Jig Extreme and this speed mill. It has made cutting lower receivers so easy. I highly recommend this Speedmill.
