Need more inventory

Nice execution of the measuring system. Very small off road helmets have been measured so there was one or two to choose from. Need more off road helmets measured before I can recommend.

Good idea, needs to be taken a bit farther

I love the idea, but I think it could be improved a few ways: 1) The measurements are all around the crown of your head. Therefore their recommendations may be completely wrong for the height of your head, or shape of your jaw/cheeks or neck. In my case, the first helmet that I tried (recommended by the report) was very loose on my cheeks, which is dangerous. 2) Even the crown of that helmet was too tight, so there may be some disconnect between the measurements submitted and the report result. 3) I'd love to see 2 items added to the report: how many shell sizes a given helmet model has (e.g. cheaper models tend towards a single shell size, while higher-end tend towards 3 or 4); the safety rating of each helmet (DOT, ECE, SNELL, SHARP).

Too Big a Head

Nice kit but unfortunately the report was very limited and was of no value to me in finding a proper fitting helmet. If you have a large oval shaped head as in 7 1/2 or larger this will not help you.

better than stabbing blindly

Helps to find shapes of helmets, I started with XL as stated in report and now am awaiting my third order up to XXXL. Find a place that has free returns on helmets and save some money on returns. Worth the $?, barely.

Extensive, but not complete

While the LidPicker report that I received was extensive, it did not contain everything that I wanted. I was hoping for an analysis of my head shape (i.e. round oval, intermediate oval, or long oval) in case I wanted to consider a helmet brand not listed on the report (.ie. LS2). Other than that, the report will be somewhat useful.
