I own both a recon and a nirvana. Both are very similar rafts in the water. Primary use for me is to navigate trout rivers and use it to get away from the crowds. Secondary use is to travel to far away trout waters such as in Alaska or Wyoming. I own water master rafts as well and they are preferred for storage capacity, but for stealth, travel, and weight savings, the Kokopelli has water master beat! Note: the recon is heavier than the Nirvana, but unless you are hiking long distances, the recon is the better buy for the money.
