This is exactly what I was looking for. Rigid/semi-rigid structure remains functionable when detached from the vehicle. Tailgate door can be closed without the tent collapsing. Seals around the opening. Not too small, not too big, just right. Quite the Goldilocks system.

We love klymit. We have two tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, and camp pillows. We needed our own gear for a commercial river trip on yampa and gates of lodore, and our new klymit gear was perfect for that trip and will go down the grand canyon in 2025.

Shipping was expensive!!
