Their customer service is remarkable. I emailed them with a minor concern about the sidewall of my Hoss. I assumed they would tell me it wasn't a big deal or send me a patch kit but they sent me a whole new board...really quickly too! This is a great company and I feel glad to have bought a board with them. I will hopefully get a whitewater board from them too!

I'm glad I sprung for the Carbon Straight-Up. Its swappable fins let me change its handling between better maneuverability (stock 8" fin) and better tracking (9" Center Race Fin), and even handling shallow rapids (4.5" Gummy Center Fin), making it a great all-around board. Hala's customer support was fantastic, both in helping me choose the best model for my uses, and helping me with questions post-sale.
