GunSkins

Great experience with the GunSkins folks. I had a picture in my mind, and together, we made it happen. My order was kind of basic but included custom-printed magwell skins. The rest of this might sound like a complaint, but it's really not - the people at GunSkins do their best to work with you on what you want, as best they can and in a timely manner. We had an email exchange numerous times to make sure everything was just the way I wanted it (regarding magwell skins). I would have rather done this on the phone but the response times were certainly reasonable. I could only give a basic description of what I had in mind using words, and they came through with the exact picture I had in my mind. It seems the postal system is very slow moving items through their system - nothing against GunSkins here - it took one week to receive the first part of my order (from Kansas?); After an unknown delay of one week (another email) before my magwell skins were finally shipped out (from North Carolina) it took another 11 days (!?!) to finally reach me. At no time did they ignore me; regarding the shipping delay, maybe my skins were somehow misplaced or set aside, but GunSkins made no excuses. They were found and immediately shipped. I have installed said skins (1 pistol, 1 AR), both were my first time working with GunSkins. I would advise using a heat gun and not a torch, unless you're flawless in the operation thereof. I burned them a couple times. Glad the firearms are ours and wasn't doing it for a customer! Skill level: Moderate, and TAKE YOUR TIME! I found the right side grip piece to be quite far from matching the right lower receiver piece. The left side matches better, if not quite perfect. Also found it very difficult to work with the grip pieces on my particular grip. Beavertail with deep finger grooves and texture...whew.... Some of the die-cutting didn't cut all the way through the vinyl, be prepared to possibly have to do a little careful cutting... Anyway...thanks to GunSkins for a great product and customer service. Great product! I have purchased 3 different wraps and they turned out amazing. I have friends wanting me to do there guns now 😂🤣.
