After more than a decade of use, my old Static V started to leak at the welds. It was done. I had gotten so much use out of it during those 10+ years and it performed exceptionally well the entire time, always making the rocky bumpy ground comfortable. It's such a huge step up in terms of comfort compared to a foam mat. Yes, it takes longer to setup and break down but the improvement in comfort and sleep quality more than makes up for that. I will continue recommending the Static V to my friends and family. I decided to check if the failure would be covered by the warranty and they said yes, in fact it was eligible for a free replacement! I was blown away. Well done Gathr / Klymit!
