Enlightened Equipment

In 2015, I bought a Revelation (Down Type: 800 DownTek GDD, Temperature: 50°F (10°C), Length: Short, Width: Regular, Inside Fabric Color: Black 10D, Outside Fabric Options: Black 20D). Overall, I have used it relatively little, mostly indoors, but have been happy with it and appreciated the prompt replies to my recent customer care inquiries. One thing I might recommend, if you don't do so on the site, is to make clear that the measurement that you give for the length of the quilts is the measurement before they are cinched at the bottom. I have noticed in some reviews that reviewers were surprised when they cinched the quilts and found them shorter than they expected. In that case, I also would give the "cinched" measurement. Apart from that, keep up the good work!

I originally placed an order for a custom quilt, then realized several days later that I had a couple questions RE rating & width. I contacted EE and had as good a customer service experience as possible. Thanks, Brody

I love my 20 degree Revelation quilt. It is the perfect 3 season quilt. However, I wish EE would consider developing a mattress “sleeve” that includes the clips. I would carry a few extra ounces if you offered it, especially if the top was a micro fleece.

I LOVE my EE Enigma 30-degree down quilt! It's actually warmer and has a better, more consistent fill than a 23-degree quilt I have from another company. I love how light it is and that it packs down small as to not take a lot of room in my pack. The straps are great for keeping it on my inflatable sleeping pad and helps to keep drafts out. I also have the VISP rain jacket, which is also amazingly light. It keeps me dry while being breathable. Both of these items are standard equipment for all of my backcountry adventures.
