I've probably used an Ekotex mat for 45 years. I still have an original green one with worn away areas where I stood most frequently. Forget about the incredibly named mats out there now, credited to transform your Yoga practice. The Ekotex mat contains no nasty chemicals, is latex free, still made in Germany and is simply the best mat to work on.

Ekotex is my first choice for guidance on what mat is best. Their slight seconds are amazing value.
