I received a new Tarmac as a warranty claim replacement due to the frame breaking on the old one during a trip to Portugal. Had it for 18 years and travel extensively with it. Eagle Creek did not hesitate to honor their lifetime warranty and will continue to be a loyal Eagle Creek customer. A note about the new Tarmac: It is very stylish and of great Eagle Creek Quality. Updated version has fewer convenience items such as expansion capabilities, built strap to secure an extra item such as a backpack to the handle, and is dimensionally a bit smaller.
