I ordered the POW 16L winter protector pack to use for fat bike guiding/riding through the winter along the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains. Couldn't be happier with it. I removed the protector pad to reduce weight ('cause I'm like that). Very happy with the fit, performance. and function. More than enough room for extra layers, first aid kit and fat bike tube and basic tools. Lots of pockets and space to organize all those essentials. I've used it several times for rides in the -20 C range and my hydration line did not freeze. Pretty impressive!

Love the backpack. The one point harness system is easy to use and the the pack feels so natural you forget you have it on. Bought the winter one to try for running in the winter. Only drawback is Canadian winters in Winnipeg are too cold for the nozzle of the bladder to stay unfrozen and I worry about the plastic clap breaking.
