Not For Beginners
The Big Man required adjusting, as wouldn't perform at all. (much unhappy walking) Boomerang was flat with no dihedreal. After contact with helpful, prompt staff, adjustments enabled successful flights.
This boomerang requires a LOT of field, a LOT of arm, a LOT of spin, and a LOT of practice. Do not expect any perfect throws right away.
Once somewhat 'mastered', this is a truly unique, and beautiful sight to behold. It stays low all the way around, and usually comes in 'hot'. Don't expect to many returns without some hustling, as this thing covers a lot of ground, and reading the wind is critical. Seems to also perform better in stronger breezes.
All in all, it's worth the time, practice, and trouble to be able marvel at the performance this boomerang is capable of. The flights are truly a thing of beauty, and garner much attention from all.
