Best practice putting green

Amazing product! This is the second BirdieBall green I’ve purchased. Highly recommended.

Love it!

Fantastic! Lies completely flat and rolls absolutely true. Feels very much like a real green. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable home putting solution, especially since the competition is 3-4 times the price. Two things I wish I had known: 1. It wasn't until calling birdieball. prior to purchasing, that I learned that all the mats are the same and it is only how they are prepped that determines the speed. Get the "Slowing Brush", as they call it. You can make your slow mat fast, or vice versa. I got the slow mat and it is PLENTY fast. 2. My one gripe is that the standard cups rarely hold any putts that aren't hit at dripping speed, which is not a great way to practice. The good news is that the high-backed cup, which sticks up 1/2" in the back, is perfect. It's true that it will hold putts traveling too fast for normal makes on a golf course, but I actually find that to be a benefit. I think we all know what good making speed looks like. As long as I'm hitting them at good speed, I know they'd be in. But having the high-backed cup allows me to effectively extend my mat, meaning I can set-up at 7 feet but make a longer stroke that would travel 12 or even 15 feet. If it goes in center cut, that tells me that it left on a good line and would have been a pretty good putt from that distance. The bad news is that they only include one high-backed cup and I had to pay an extra $21 to get a second one shipped to me. Get at least one extra when you order! Birdieball, if you are listening, the high-backed cup should be the default cup and the sunken cup should be the specialty option.
