Absolutely awesome knife. The Benchmade Shootout is one of those knives that impresses you the second you pick it up. I love the look, the feel in the hand, and especially the smooth, positive operation of the OTF mechanism. Everything about it feels purposeful, well-built, and refined. The fit, finish, ergonomics, and action all come together to create a knife that simply exudes American-made quality. The blade deploys with authority, the controls feel solid, and the overall design gives it a rugged yet premium character. Benchmade absolutely nailed this one. The Shootout doesn’t just look like a high-quality American-made knife—it feels and operates like one every single time you use it. Outstanding craftsmanship and easily one of my favorite knives. 5*****
