Great product, simple, lightweight and economical. Adjusting the tension just right takes a little fiddling to avoid "sticktion", but once set it moves smoothly. I have an AT72EDII that I use with a 2-inch Baader prism diagonal and a 2-inch 30 mm APM eyepiece, 7+ pounds in all, and the mount handles it with no problem. That configuration is a bit back-heavy and the standard dovetail isn't long enough to completely balance it, but it's close. I've also used a 65 mm spotting scope on the extension for easy upright mounting. That load is only 3 pounds and movements are very smooth.
