When the box came in I initially thought I ordered a telescope. I was unprepared for just how large the VX5 was until I had it in my hand. The scope itself is on par with the rest of Leupold products. The clarity is absolutely ridiculous and the eye relief is impressive considering the magnification on this scope. I mounted it just like I do every other scope I have and it after bore sighting I had 3 shots in a quarter at 100 yards after 7 rounds total. The reticle is great and super fine. The only down side is you will have to use the side focus, even a 50 yard different upclose will result in a blur. But other than that, fantastic scope and I hope I can find more in stock to put on my other platforms.
