Apex Ski Boots

Return policy on website promises a full refund, minus shipping cost of $18. 99, with a prepaid shipping label if I needed to return them. Apex withheld $37. 98 and ghosted my request for an explanation. If I had suspected that it would cost me nearly $40 just to order the boots to try on, I would never have done so. What an absolute rip off. Unethical business. Never again.

Seller does not stand behind boots. They still expect buyer to pay return shipping for boot that broke in under 10 minutes of use (1 Green run). Not recommended.

Worst boot from the worst company

Bought a new pair of Crestone VS. Pros: Comfort level much, much better than ski boots (zero complaints with fit). As a 49 year old, I just pretty much just cannot do ski boots any longer. Cons: Unfortunately, the boot broke the first time down the mountain (blue run @ Big Sky). Warning: Even though product defective, you will still be charged for freight both ways. I fully realize/expected to be charged shipping for non-worn items but this was not on me. 2 days of lift tickets for (1) run down mountain + shipping both ways. I had zero plans to write negative review until just got email that I would still be charged freight (both ways). FYI
