Nice idea to have flexibility

Nice idea to have flexibility for walking versus skiing. Experiencing discomfort due to limited ankle stability and support, even with tightness adjustment used to maximum, when skiing aggressively. Not sure how to correct this to avoid ankle irritation after day of skiing the whole mountain. Need enough flex to provide carve control without too much give leading to poor connection and blisters bruising.

I was disappointed that the boots I ordered were out of stock but was glad that friendly personnel were kind enough to call me and inform me of why my payment was refunded.

Boot is Overrated. Return Cost too High.

Boot construction is fine enough, but it is not worth the full retail, only consider this when it's on a off season sale around $495 Returned for 2 reasons ~ 1. design flaw on toe buckle (it does not sit flush on the stiff tongue of the boot) 2. The boa adjuster placement on the shin is nonsensical, takes up way too much space. This boot only fits super baggy pants, will not fit any slimmer fit ski pants, especially women's slimmer fit ski pants. Also be prepared to lose around $60 shipping this back to Apex in the case of return which they will not re-imburse you for.
