Good service

Bought this for my first tri. Was worried about not being able to try it on first, but the sizing chart worked perfectly for me! Very happy with my purchase (and the tri! ;P)

I bought a Vivid fullsuit on sale just before Black Friday - but I accidentally forgot to use the offer code and paid the full price. Since Xterra was closed for the holiday and I couldn't correct my order, I ordered a second one using the offer code (planning to return the full price one). THEN a few days later the Vortex - an allegedly better suit - went on sale, so I ordered that one and returned the two Vivids in mid-December. After a ton of emails with customer service, and a lot of patience on their behalf, I finally got my refund for the two wetsuits at the end of February. It took a while, but it did eventually come! The Vortex wetsuit itself is great. I ordered a medium, and it felt too tight at first but adjusted well when in water. Can't say much about ocean wear, since I've only used it so far in freshwater lakes. I bought it for my first triathlon and don't have any complaints!

You can't beat the quality for the price. I own two tri suits and a surf suit. For someone who is gear conscious and has plenty of outdoor hobbies, I really try to seek out the best value. These aren't top of the line, but they've survived pretty much the entire California coastline. Unless you're a pro or have cash to throw around, this is probably your best bet.
