I have to tell you that my lava shorts have met and exceeded every expectation I had for them. I tend to drag a bit so I'm constantly having to focus on body position which leaves less for my stroke. While wearing lava shorts my body position is perfect leaving more of what I have available to focus on stroke. This training has definitely paid off. I went from Lane 6 to Lane 4 (without the shorts) out of 7 Lanes in my master's class. That translates to about a 20-second Improvement on my 100 (1min 30sec). I can definitely say that this is an awesome product for the novice swimmer who is serious about improving his time. As for the title of my review it took well over a month to receive my shorts from an online order and I live in San Diego where there is a warehouse.

Spacious well thought out design. Looks great, easy to carry when full which makes a ride to transition area from parking area easy!
