I received my anxiously awated ulta mid 4, and it has been all I had hoped. Superb craftsmanship throughout. It fits nicely in the small 3400 pod. And sets up so easily. After cutting off all line locks and replacing all cordage with fluorescent yellow line from zpacks, I believe this tent will be the last tent I will ever need. I love it. Had it out only three times setting up even coming in after dark was a breeze. I also bought the half bugnet with floor it fits our twin size EXPED synmat pad perfect.as my hiking partner is my cold sleeping wife ,this pared with a queen quilt is a beautiful match. Thank you for your prompt service and excellent customer service ( I called to ask about fitment with pods) happy wife, happy hiker!

I've been impressed with Hyperlite from start to finish - great gear, excellent customer service, awesome company.

I own a Hyperlite Mid, a 4400 Porter pack, and just bought another pack. Every interaction I've had with this company has been positive. When I first bought my mid I was headed on a trip, bought the wrong size, and was able to quickly return it while Hyperlite rushed me the other size. It was my blunder but they made it happen so I could still take it on the trip. I've abused their gear and it has withstood the test. This is a great company!

I purchased the Southwest 4400 as an ultralight upgrade for my trusty Gregory pack. The SW 4400 is extremely light, well built, and comfortable enough given its stripped down nature. If you’re hauling a bunch of gear and weight over long distance you’ll want a more comfortable pack and personally would go back and use my Gregory for that purpose with more comfort at the cost of weight. But if you’re looking, as I was, for a high volume ultralight bag that’s waterproof and nearly indestructible, look no further. Only wishlist item would be for the SW to have the same daisy chain setup as the porter bags. Would be a nice feature with minimal weight penalty.
