Being a full time working parents, we put a lot of time and effort in choosing who cares for our children during the day. Even after all that, it is a huge leap of faith to trust others to provide the care we are looking for when there is no daytime contact (I knwo I don't feel comfortable calling to check up, as I wouldn't want to distract the care givers). The HiMama app acts both as a window into the day by letting parents get updates and pictures of our childrens, but also as a easy way to keep in touch with the caregivers while we are at work about things that wouldn't necessarily require a phone call, but it also more responsive than an email. I absolutely love this app and would highly recommend it for other child care centers and parents to use. Additionally, there are digital daily reports, which are easily accessible by phone or desktop. You can also add other family memebers to get updates (and control what content they have access too). But really, nothing beats the joy of getting an email with a picture of your smiling, happy child. What a great app!
