Powerful forms
We use our forms to facilitate on site testing, job records and audits. Like similar forms it's easy to embed photos, other media, GPS coordinates etc into a form which is oh so powerful.
Where Fastfield has ticked a big box for us is the ability to use javascript to create form logic and mathematical functions (e.g. standard deviations).
I am still learning the full capabilities of the system and the deeper I delve the more I crave and the more complex and funky it all becomes :-)
Ability to collate and report on data is great and far more powerful than paper based sheets. Yet to use a reporting tool, can't wait for the Dashboard functions to evolve into something meaningful as currently Beta. (if you can use Excel - you can work round this easily enough).
Ability to route forms to users sounds great but not used fully. Have dabbled and great to have - need to find where it could fit in our Organisation.
Support staff are always helpful and respond timely.
Are there any negatives?
Whilst the support staff are great, there are times I wish the objective I was looking for was within the Help / FAQ files (how about a user wiki / forum).
What you see is tip of the iceberg stuff and you can go mad and creative if you know how.....
Dashboard, Dashboard, Dashboard....
Automated reporting of data is where I need to focus on next, how I get there?
Current Beta dashboard isn't there yet.
