I have a long torso,
I have a long torso, and have not been able to find suits that fit without digging into my shoulders, hips, or coming up way too low in the chest. Over the last year I have tried on 6 suits from brands like Andie, Left On Friday, and Target, but none have fit comfortably.
I was really pleased, when I put on my Youswim suit for the first time. Not only does it fit my long torso, but the fabric surpassed my expectations. It is soft, the seams don't dig into your skin, and it stays in place. I was hesitant to purchase a crinkle cut swimsuit, because other brands that I have tried felt thick and uncomfortable on the skin. This material is surprisingly soft, almost velvety, and feels wonderful on the skin both wet and dry.
I am nervous to see how the suit holds up over time. The care instructions say to wash the suit immediately after swimming in chlorine treated pools and to avoid hot tubs and spas. Several reviews claim that their suit became bleached and splotchy after swimming in pools, even while adhering to the care instructions. $160 is a lot to spend on a swimsuit that you can't wear in a pool or hot tub. I wore my suit to swim laps in the pool this morning and it was incredibly comfortable, stayed put while I was swimming and didn't give me a wedgie. I followed the care instructions when I returned home and haven't noticed any bleaching. I hope to be able to use this suit, both in the ocean and pools for years to come.
