I loved these boots when they first came out. I have big calves and usually wear a 9. 5 or 10 shoe, so I decided to order size 10 with extra wide calf since I could always wear socks if the boots were slightly big. They arrived and I was so excited but when I tried them on I just laughed. They were ridiculously large on me. The calf fit great but the foot was so long, and around the ankle was massive and loose. They looked absolutely silly on me. I was so disappointed. A few months later I decided to try again. 9. 5 with wide calf rather than extra wide calf. Snug fit around the calf but the foot was so long! Finally I ordered 9 extra wide calf and they are perfect! The right boot fit beautifully right away, the left was tight across my foot which was weird but they are fitting well after a couple of wearings. Love these boots!
