Great pilot bag for the B737
This is my first TravelPro bag and overall I'm pretty impressed. I fly on Boeing 737-800s and Max and when the bag is not packed full to the brim it fits next to me in the cockpit without interfering with the seat. Back in the passenger cabin, the bag fits well in the overhead bins and if it's not too full it can even fit under some seats in the 737. The bag is very well built, with the handle, wheels and zippers that look like they are made to last. I'm 6ft tall and the handle is long enough (just about though).
The main compartment is very spacious and I am able to fit my food cooler and my Bose ProFlight while still leaving enough space for my coat or for some spare clothes. There's a built-in wet bag that also works really well to store some paperwork.
The laptop compartment is nicely padded and it fits my MacBook Air 13inch and my company's EFB, however this specific EFB doesn't fit in the built-in tablet sleeve due to its very bulky iPad case.
The front compartment has three hooks to hold pens, a small clip to secure some keys and several small and large webbed pockets. These pockets are ok, however I'm personally not a fan of this kind of material because some items can get trapped in the webbing, but it's not a deal-breaker.
On the outside, there's a handy slot for a name tag, a handle to carry it by hand and a strap to secure the bag on the handle of another piece of luggage. The two small pockets on the side are very functional: one perfectly fits my licence, passport and wallet and the other one is designed to hold a small bottle of water but it also works very well to hold an umbrella or high viz vest.
One thing I would have liked to see would be a plastic hook on the side of the bag for a carabineer, a tag or similar. Anyways, the perfect flight bag probably doesn't exist, but for me this one is pretty close to it!
