We have now partaken of two chicken & leek pies and two of peppered steak and whilst we found the pastry to be very good the contents lacked an important element which should be be present in a good meat pie. I refer of course to a lack of succulence, the pies being so stuffed with large chunks of meat that no space remained for gravy which in our view is a serious deficiency and definitely detracted from our enjoyment of the meals. The pies would be greatly improved with a little less meat cut smaller and the addition of some flavoursom gravy. I must add that the steak was rather fibrous, possibly caused by heating for the full recommended thirty minutes and suggest that twenty/twentyfive minutes is quite sufficient at 180 degrees. These were OK pies but at this price I was expecting a lot more, compared to suppliers like Lime Tree these are a very poor second

The pies were lovely, as expected, however sending me an email and not bothering to check my name is terrible. Product is nothing without good customer service, clearly you don't wish me to re-order or indeed spread the word about you in t'north, where an awful lot of pies are eaten.
