Surgent CPA Review

Flash cards not as expected. I called to return right after I received them but it didn't work. I am disappointed and not using them at all.

I HATE it!! It looks like a really cheap version of a study review and doesn't even guide you through set modules. Instead, it just gives you a ton of questions to try to take and then individual links near the ones you get wrong. There's no study path, just random links to click on here and there. It won't let me view videos and takes me to an additional site because it says my browser doesn't accept cookies either. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! And the questions often repeat themselves of the few tests I've taken even.

I actually hate this review course; I am 9 years out of school and I don't thinkthe adaptive learning model is conducive to my learning. I actually had to supplement and pay extra for an additional course as I don't think yours helps. I previously used Becker and passed a few parts with that course, so I am familiar with CPA review courses. While the videos are good, there are no notes, no study guides, its very bare minimum. The book is awful to work with since it reads like an encyclopedia. Overall, I wish I never would have purchased and regret not doing a free trial first since your course is so expensive. I am very, very unhappy.

Very disappointed in the customer service and the representatives. I purchased the item and had told them that I am not in a rush to receive the books or anything as there was going to be a change. Instead I got the old books. I asked if they can be replaced but was told I can only if I paid for the books I got to be returned etc. This was an error on Surgents part, instead of sending me the new books and new items, I have the old books, and was told its ok, the new items are on the site. I am old school, I like books in my hands. But I guess, so I will have to use the new books online since I have the old books and flashcards. And hopefully I will pass the test with Surgent. I mean I used Roger and I never took the test, but at least when I called them they said no problem we will send you the new books due to our error, but I guess Surgent is Surgent and Roger is Roger
