I love everything about Shudder, but we need more episodes of "The Core!"

The selection available on Shudder is so deep and plentiful. There's literally something for everyone here. You could probably go a few years rummaging through the films and will always find something interesting you've not yet seen. The only thing I have a problem with is that the format/layout on my Roku is a bit wonky. The movie thumbnail is always blurry and it just seens a bit clunky. But even then, I still gotta go with a 5 start rating. For a horror fanatic like myself, Shudder satisfies all of my needs. It's a must have. Oh and The Core is one of the best things i've ever seen. Keep it up guys!

I've been a member four or so different times now, trailing back a couple of years. It was a great service at the start, but Chromecast glitches and streaming issues led us to get rid of it a couple times. Now everything seems to be fixed. For the price, I expected the number of movies to hover around a couple hundred, but how the library keeps growing while the cost stays the same is completely beyond me. I also appreciate the addition of more obscure films, and even done that aren't traditionally considered horror. I am baffled by some additions (as much as I love Takeshi Kitano, there is no way VIOLENT COP or BOILING POINT should be anywhere near here), but that's about my only complaint. It's truly a phenomenal service where the people behind it legitimately seem to care about what they're doing, and have a clear passion to being these films to an audience.

The horror genre is so broad that there is much variety in what Shudder has to offer. From foreign films with a dark edge, to mini-series that don't fit neatly into a network lineup, to the GATE!!!

I recommend Shudder to all of my friends. The curation is impeccable as is the sheer breadth of genres, countries, and eras of films represented. When I first got my Shudder membership it was like a million Christmases and I was overwhelmed by the amazing collection. I'm still browsing back through it two years later looking for gems that I missed. If I had one complaint it would be that there is A LOT of buffering that tends to happen 3/4 of the way through. This has caused me and my girlfriend to quit a few films in frustration and each time she shouts "OF COURSE SHUDDER DID IT AGAIN." Overall the strong selections outweigh the bugs and I recommend it to anyone whole heartedly.
