A Womb of One's Own
Our podium bed, which is a queen-size in our guest bedroom, is my daily retreat for reading followed by a nap. As I'm ready to drift off, I simply push the levelling button to resume the horizontal position or slightly adjust the elevation and let sleep overtake. Upon awaking, raising my torso by another push of the button, the quietly operating system -- which was a breeze to set up -- gradually raises me as I gently regain consciousness. For anyone who has difficulty in the morning alighting from bed, this gradual approach (to being upright) is just the thing. Though I don't use the vibrating options, they'd come in real handy for anyone feeling in need of a massage. Our next bed and bed frame purchase will definitely be a Podium bed -- two Twin-size beds for the master bedroom. When you get used to this manner of sleeping there's no turning back. And one last thing -- the delivery schedule was exactly as advertised with no delays.
