The colour is gold - no watery hues here. A solid, medium bodied chardonnay typical of California's best. The nose suggests brioche and freshly baked croissant. Ripe pineapple is balanced against toasted hazelnut with just a hint of butter scotch. Viscous and creamy this wine is a delight.

This "baby" Bourgogne Blanc is a full-bodied, satisfying drink with unmistakable varietal aromas and flavours and a fresh-acid finish. It is an absolute bargain at $A14.99.
