Steering Knuckle Purchase
When I initially placed my order I specifically chose the option to not put in a VIN. However, after placing my order, I later received an email from sales to provide a VIN. So I did and they replied back stating that the steering knuckles I ordered would not fit, so they changed my order without asking and without my permission. I had to reach out multiple times to sales to tell them to change back my order to the original steering knuckles I ordered.
My advise is, one, if you are giving the option to not provide a VIN at checkout and the customer chooses not to, do not ask the customer to provide a VIN after purchase and two, do not change the order without asking and discussing with the customer first.
It did eventually get resolved and sales was nice about it which is why I am giving 5 stars. Its not a big deal and it all worked out in the end.
