After years of searching my husband has been immensely impressed with Dr. Segal's diabetic socks. These are the first socks that go around his calves, even though the one sock usually falls down the fact that they fit makes the experience great. He wants me to order more once he's gone through his sock drawer and recycled the ones that don't make his feet happy.
