I'll start with presentation. The packaging is both very professional, yet minimalistic. The pen comes in a cool little cardboard tube, complete with the Prometheus logo, that tube comes in a thick plastic bag. That's it. Plain and simple. I like it! I also ordered an Alpha for my Mom, and I mentioned it was a gift when I ordered. The Prometheus crew put the ordered items in a nifty little cloth bag, along with a gift receipt. A very nice and professional touch. My Mom loves it! The pen you see on this website is exactly what you get. The machining looks precise, the finish is flawless, the threads are smooth. It's plain, it's simple, and it's bulletproof. The Alpha is, to me, the perfect pen. As for the cartridges, I tried both the Fineliner and rollerball. The Fineliner writes amazing, however, it flows like a fountain pen and bled through the low quality paper I have at work if I paused in my writing. The rollerball has a more traditional writing feel to it, and it doesn't bleed, so I've been using that, but both carts are GREAT. If you're on the fence about dropping over a hundred dollars on a pen that isn't made by some big name bougie company, don't be. The Alpha is the real deal.
