These shoes will hardly be broken in 5 years later -- still with a perfect fit, just like brand new, 5 years later! These shoes are inexhaustible! I use dark Brown shoe shine, apply it with a soft paper towel, takes under 5 minutes to buff up both shoes, and it lasts for months. I likely polish them twice per year, and I work in hospitals. But, we've owned land, and I drove a tractor and cleared land with them on and never once did I ever slip or twist an ankle or roll my ankle. I did roll my ankle before I discovered Dansko, and it was a very traumatic sprain, it took 3 month to heal. I was amazed the day I discovered Dankso - it was a miracle. . .
