I have very much enjoyed many of the books from the areas in San Bernardino County I was born and lived and worked in until moving to another state. I bought this book for my wife's 94 year old father who lived in Parker during many of the early photos in this book. It literally brought tears to his eyes to see the area he remembered so well but had very few photos of himself. The book was a win for me, Brownie points with my wife! But also for him to see and remember his own youth.

Another great book showcasing the history of the area I was born in, worked in and lived most of my life until 10 years ago, San Bernardino County, and had never known the rich history that existed in the different communities. Because I spent so much time working in Running Springs while working for San Bernardino County for almost 25 years, I have found this book immensely interesting.
