I enjoyed the history of this store. I have been there and have seen the store in it's glory and sadly it's final downfall when the city and crime brought it down. This history was well written and researched like all of Arcadia's works this was out standing and I recommend it highly.

I am a huge fan of Arcadia Press. It is my new go-to place for gifts for friends across the country. I grew up in Brooklyn and have purchased many wonderful volumes about Brooklyn and New York City for myself and as gifts. I love the post card collections, too.

I ordered several books and very pleased with every one of them. Ready to order some more even though I have not read the first ones. Lots of information in each book.
