A Fancy Piece of Aluminum That Somehow Fixes Everything
When I first opened the Wood-Mizer blade alignment tool, I thought, “Wait… I paid money for a flat piece of aluminum?” And technically… yes. That is exactly what this is.
But here’s the thing — this magical rectangle of aluminum somehow makes blade alignment ridiculously easy. What used to involve eyeballing, guessing, adjusting, second-guessing, and questioning my entire life now takes about two minutes.
You slap it on there, check your alignment, make a tweak, and boom — suddenly your mill is cutting straight like it went to sawmill finishing school.
Is it simple? Absolutely.
Is it overpriced aluminum? Possibly.
Does it work perfectly and save a ton of frustration? Also yes.
So while it may look like something you could have made in shop class, it turns out the engineers at Wood-Mizer knew exactly what they were doing.
Five stars for the world’s most useful flat piece of metal. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
