Always use this type of blade excellent all around blade for all types of wood

Quality and rugged wrapped up into one package. Also have the trailer package and makes the mill very well balanced and tows nice. The mill stands up well to wear and tear and abuse that comes with sawing lumber. I haven’t used the rope feed. I eventually removed mine, was getting in the way I found. I find the carriage pushes along nice and easy as long as everything is level and lined up.

The forks on the log forks are to short .big logs roll off.
