We bought this because of price + features. WLL had a terrific sale w FC included and bundled-price Silenzio grinder. Had to choose Hx because DB w enough steam power were too expensive. The new PID changes the temp issues of previous model from 10+ degree swings to holding within 1 degree. Very interested in Flow Profiling and so far getting terrific results there. Beautiful and extremely well constructed. Step up from our Breville Oracle as this has tremendous steam power. Pull out the tray 1cm when pulling shot and watch Shot Timer in PID display! Absolutely shocked how much difference lowering temperature for dark roast removes bitterness. Very happy with powerful, well made, *very flexible* beastie.
