Watch Direct

I wanted to buy a watch that was around $3,000. I asked if lay-by was an option and was told no. I would have been happy to purchase the watch at the advertised price if lay-by was offered. I would not expect that you would have too many customers buying $3,000 watches and you have unfortunately lost me as a customer.

Horrible experience

Haven't received my order and no shipping or tracking number

I purchased a LUMINOX LAND RECON NAV SPC 8830 SERIES SWISS QUARTZ 200M MEN'S WATCH direct from Watch Direct on the 7th November 2018. We took the watch into a reputable jewellery store in Hobart Tasmania to check the battery was OK because it wasn’t keeping accurate time. The watch had not been opened since we bought it. I paid $495 for the watch and was told by a renowned jeweller that the mechanism inside the watch was worth $4.00 and that it would cost more in labour time to fix the watch than it's worth! I bought the watch for my husband for Christmas and feel awful. I paid for a luxury brand watch that is now sitting in the drawer. I might as well have flushed my hard-earned money down the drain. Watch Direct advised me that it doesn't matter what the mechanism inside the watch is worth and refused a refund. Carolyn Whitfield
