I really like the look of the desk shelf but the tray does not have a functional design and will not really hold anything on its own when pulled out. Not a hard fix but not thought about by Vernal!

Was finally able to put the desk put together. Had to wait for the final box to get delivered since they all shipped from different locations. This is a heavy duty desk and exactly what I was looking for! No plastic parts involved. My only issue was the damaged varnish to the table tops. I emailed customer service and never got a response. Overall, I am happy with the way it fits in my space, but there is some disappointment knowing the price point I paid for it and the unaddressed damage. Still trying to figure out if it is worth getting the remaining office pieces to complete the set.

On the front end, everything looks great, and it's sturdy. That said, a design flaw is that because of the current design for the pullout shelf, there's no catch for it and so you can't utilize the entire shelf or pull it out as it falls out of its channels. Food for thought on an updated design would include somehow allowing for that drawer to be pulled all the way out without it tipping/falling.

The desk top was damaged on the first shipment. I received a new one, it was also slightly damaged. I kept it. I also had to dispose of the old desk top.
