I had lost my 46 year old Vuarnet sunglasses. Other than the fact that the frame is a little darker than I would have liked, these glasses are classics with incredible lenses.

The customer service from Vuarnet, especially the repair and replacement, is exceptional. Very good communication and assistance. Makes me feel good about spending money on these sunglasses. One minor point: my new frames came a little warped, and it's very difficult to have them straightened due to the NYC boutique being closed because they are relocating. Shipping them to another authorized retail location for straightening is very inconvenient, so I wish I could just take them to my optometrist to have them straightened and have that be honored by the warranty if anything ever happens to them. People buy expensive frames from opticians all the time, so the flexibility of being able to to use my own would be fantastic. Otherwise great product and highlly recommended.

Super-fast shipping! Website could be better (in the US that is). It was unclear if I was dealing with a legitimate seller until the item arrived. Could not find a single pair at any US retailer, so my purchase was basically on faith, sight unseen, based on my previous experience with Vuarnet mineral glass lenses in 1983.
