Hi, I absolutely love The Very Good Butcher’s Taco Stuff’er, so I was absolutely excited to try your plant based bacon. However, after cooking the bacon and also the Original Ribz by your recommended method of cooking, I was left unsatisfied, disappointed, and less confident on trusting all of your products to be without a doubt good. The bacon has a rubbery texture and not the crispy texture one would taste when you hear “Original Bacon”. As for the ribz, they were how you say, “bleh”. Nothing special and tasted exactly how it would taste if I made it at home, but with a hell of a lot less ribz; mediocre. Now, I’ll purchase NEW products from The Very Good Butcher more hesitantly. Now, I’ll just stick to what I know and get the Taco Stuff’er and nothing else.

Overall, I am not impressed.

Overall, I am not impressed. The products don’t live up to the promise. Also, shipping sucks. It takes weeks to get your order and when it shows up the items are barely cold. My first shipment was severely delay and the ice packs were completely melted and the item warm. The company was helpful though and shipped me a replacement order at no charge. However, this took a couple weeks to receive and again, the ice packs aren’t sufficient to keep their stuff cold enough. I’m the second order was at least “on time” and colder than the first shipment, but still not acceptable. I unfortunately won’t be back.

Products were shipped UPS Ground

Products were shipped UPS Ground in July. I had read the FAQs on the website about the safety of their packaging/shipping. However, by the time everything arrived the ice packs were not only melted but hot. Products were all warm. Checking the tracking they had been enroute for over a week. Reaching out to customer service TWICE for guidance with NO RESPONSE. This was my first and large order. NEVER AGAIN.
