Overall, the quality looks good, but I don't understand why nowadays all manufacturers lift the toebox above the ground? It's not a running sneakers. When squatting I feel that, if I press by big toe, I push the toebox to the ground and still don't have enough contact like in barefoot shoes. Big question, knowing the marketing strategy of the shoes. . . .

Love the design, but they are way too stiff in the forefoot. It’s like wearing safety shoes. It makes it very uncomfortable to train in them which is sad, as they cost a lot. I loved the CTR-1 so I had High expectations. Unfortunately I was disappointed.

Order confirmation took two weeks, shipping took another two weeks. Had to pay 30 something tax upon arrival, whitch was nowhere mentionend. The shoe was way smaller, out of some weird reason the solelength size 43 is just 26cm, compared to my legacy lifters, same size is 28cm. I would have needed to order size 45, to have solelength 28cm, whitch is 2. 5 sizes larger than any other shoe or boot i own. Shipment back was a mess too, just to get a shipping back etiquette it took 5 days from support to get it. Then i found out, that i can only send it back by UPS, which there is no provider nearby. So it cost me another 40 CHF so send the backage back. Still waiting for the refund. Never going to buy from Tyr again, its so messy!
