I bought this device and feel it’s not always functional or accurate and don’t rely on this to keep my propane tank filled.

The Truma works but In my motorhome application I would prefer the tank system I had in my last rig. The tank system could heat on electric, propane or when driving it used engine heat. The Truma is gas only. In addition it takes a lot of water before you get warm water out of the tap. I wonder how many hundreds of gallons of water that will waste over its life time, and I wonder how many burner ignitions it will have before failure. I’ve tried it on eco and the other setting, but it doesn’t seem to make much difference.

As we were going thru the decal process I had many questions. At first, the techs were helpful, but at the end, I was told to try YouTube. On YouTube there was no scenario that addressed my problem. Sorry, but not very helpful and certainly not my idea of good customer service. I never called again.
