I replaced my one year old factory on-demand water heater with a Truma. The Truma heater works very well in terms of regulating water temperature and keeping with demand. Very easy to winterize as well. The only issue I have is that my illuminated switch heater occasionally starts blinking twice. I clear by turning off the power for about 30 seconds. This was a factory field installation and I once had a factory rep check it while in Florida and he replaced a "board" but it didn't correct the issue. The troubleshooting indicates it should be decalcified which I did but to no improvement. I really hadn't put much water through the heater at that point. So, I simply continue to reset the power every few days or so. I would prefer a more permanent fix but have not tried with factory again. All said, I believe it is a wonderful on-demand product that does what it says.

These were sent promptly when i ordered them. I had my specialist install them; he said that (in just one year) that there had been quite a bit of calcification build-up in my Truma unit.,

we have the small 1475 Lance and we have not figured out how to have consistent hot water in the shower. We do not have large tanks so we can not run the shower a long time trying to get hot water. Maybe you can help with this? We love the even heat it provides as a furnace

The system works as advertised but it goes into blinking trouble light a lot . Can not figure out why ? ? I have to go out side and open the door and reset the system .

Has worked well for us. Minor issue in year 1 with warning code on heater that didn't affect performance and was resolved with a replacement circuit board that was covered on warranty. Also minor problem with decalcification tablets bought from Truma that were too large to fit in Truma heater. Resolved by shaving the tablets down to fit. Otherwise, heater has been working well for 3 seasons so far.
