Took this bag for 4 nights away and it met my needs adequately. Love the separate section for shoes. I also found it easier to hoist up into the overhead bin on the aircraft.

We bought two Travelpro cases (a carry on, a medium-sized check-in) for a trans-Atlantic airline trip. The carry-on cases we already owned were far heavier than we wanted. Also, they didn’t meet size restrictions that have come into effect since we bought them. Travelpro cases were recommended in a NYTimes column, so we took that seriously. We were very pleased with the Travelpro cases that we purchases; they are well designed and well made. We also liked the choices of colour. But I can’t report on any airline experiences with these suitcases since we haven’t taken the trip yet.
