We bought two Travelpro cases (a carry on, a medium-sized check-in) for a trans-Atlantic airline trip. The carry-on cases we already owned were far heavier than we wanted. Also, they didn’t meet size restrictions that have come into effect since we bought them. Travelpro cases were recommended in a NYTimes column, so we took that seriously. We were very pleased with the Travelpro cases that we purchases; they are well designed and well made. We also liked the choices of colour. But I can’t report on any airline experiences with these suitcases since we haven’t taken the trip yet.

Very quick order cycle. Box packaging was itself incredibly sturdy. Arrived on time, and without any problem. Just love the lightness of the bag. . . a lightness that belies it's durability and excellent construction.

Maxlite 5 is a great suitcase. Same capacity as my old one, but much lighter. I saved money by packing it to the brim and not paying over charges. I had a slight issue with my order, but customer service resolved it promptly and satisfactory.
