I was able to return the RVR5 in its original packing but had to pay the $70 return shipping fee. This was a bit of an irritation because Trailer Valet should have known that it wouldn't work on my trailer. When I sent pictures of the problem they were quick to tell me that it wouldn't work on my Jayco trailer.

If you have an RVR3 and someone’s trailer is stolen. You should have a trailer bracket on hand to sell them. Not tell them they need to upgrade to a different product to make it work.

the product initially seemed great, spent $5000 and added the extended warranty service. However within 8 months the unit was defective and failed. Trailer Valets refused to honor the warranty and charged me close to 50% of the original purchase price to repair it. Not happy about it.
